Mayor General of Chisinau Dorin Chirtoaca suggested that the municipal companies with a less tight schedule that have the necessary equipment should intervene to help remove the consequences of water leakages, IPN reports.
Dorin Chirtoaca said there are complaints that the teams of SA “Apa-Canal Chisinau” do not intervene quickly in case of leakages. Most of the complaints come from the suburban settlements. The proposed solution is for a part of the works to be transferred under the management of the divisions that are less busy.
“Somebody is 30% busy, while others are 100% busy. But they are all employees of the municipal enterprises and the founder is the same – the City Hall and the Chisinau Municipal Council. Clarify things and come with a positive answer,” Dorin Chirtoaca asked in the ordinary meeting of City Hall officials. He advised the administration of SA “Apa-Canal Chisinau” to optimize costs and to renounce posts that are similar to those from other municipal services.
