More homeless persons seek refuge at Chisinau Accommodation Center

The Accommodation Center for Homeless Persons situated on Haltei St became too small for the many persons taking shelter there. The Center's employees have to improvise sleeping places in order to accommodate everyone. Marcela Dita, specialist of the Center, has told Info-Prim Neo that the 70 beds are occupied and they laid mattresses on the floor. Seventy-six homeless persons slept at the Center on the night to Thursday. Foundations and people bring goods and clothes for homeless persons at the Center. There were collected over 500 kg of clothing, but the footwear for winter is now in greater demand. According to the Chisinau Ambulance Service, a man and a woman were admitted to the hospital with hypothermia last night. The man was taken to the reanimatology section.
