Unemployed single senior people in the Transnistrian region will get a bigger allowance of free gas, the local press reported.
It is proposed to increase the monthly allowance by 70 cubic meters of gas specifically during the cold season. The allowance is for beneficiaries who live in homes using central heating systems.
The current monthly free gas allowance for single seniors is 140 cubic meters during the cold season, and after the increase it will be 210 cubic meters. By the current tariffs, the beneficiaries will save an extra 56 Transnistrian rubles, or under $3.5 each month.
