The Moldovan academicians will be able to buy cheaper apartments through the interministerial public-private partnership network. The subject was discussed in the February 8 meeting of the National Council for Public-Private Partnership, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to a communiqué from the Government, Minister of Economy Valeriu Lazar said the interministerial public-private partnership network would be a general competence consultative organization without legal personality. One of the proposed projects envisions building a residential quarter on a plot managed by the Academy of Sciences of Moldova. The Academy’s president Gheorghe Duca said that within this partnership, the persons working in the sphere of science will be able to purchase a square meter of dwelling by almost 40% cheaper than at present. Under another project discussed, dwellings and social facilities will be built for National Army employees. A number of 1,118 apartments are needed for servicemen.
