"I support Maia Sandu and encourage her to struggle with power and conviction against the oligarchs and politicians who betrayed and robbed the citizens of the Republic of Moldova, " MEP Monica Macovei said after a meeting with the leader of the Party "Action and Solidarity" (PAS) Maia Sandu in Bucharest, IPN reports.
"I met today a powerful woman, a politician who loves her country and who must be supported by all the honest and free people who want to free Moldova from oligarchs and to give it a clear democratic meaning now that it is at the crossroads," stated Monica Macovei
The discussions between the MEP and the PAS leader focused on the political situation in Moldova, real reform of the justice sector, recovery and confiscation of the money stolen by politicians and encouragement of the people who want the country to be really changed and modernized to become involved in politics.
