“I’m confident of achieving a good result and hope that after the elections the posts in the Chisinau City Hall and the Chisinau Municipal Council will be occupied by professionals who will bring about changes in Chisinau,” the Democratic Party’s candidate for the mayoralty Monica Babuc said after casting her ballot, quoted by IPN.
Monica Babuc, who at the polling place was met by a sympathizer with a bouquet of red roses, said that she came to vote with thoughts for a better, quieter life with less politics and with more good deeds. A comfortable working and living environment for the residents of all ages should be created in Chisinau.
The candidate said she will spend this day as an ordinary weekend day. She will visit her parents and will communicate with her colleagues and friends.
