Military personnel, command body staff, soldiers from internal affairs bodies, penitentiary system staff and state security body collaborators, who have been classified as disabled as a result of injury, concussion, illness or a condition developed during the execution of the service duties, will receive monetary compensation instead of free sanatorium treatment tickets. The government has approved amendments and additions to this effect to a ruling approved in 2004.
The amount of the monetary compensation issued instead of the treatment ticket is 6504 lei for 2019. The Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection said that the changes will be implemented annually within the limits of the approved financial means transferred from the state budget to BASS.
Additionally, the proposal to include CNA collaborators on the list of beneficiaries of monetary compensation was accepted.
