Moldtelecom recently made a new jump in developing last-generation technology, setting up the first 100G network that is available all over the country by fiber optic communication. It ensures Internet connection at the speed of 1Gbps, IPN reports.
According to a communiqué of the company, even if the investments made in the launch of the new network are rather large, the needs of the client are of primary importance and the telecoms carrier sees no other development course than offering the client the most modern, advantageous and high-quality IT products.
“The communication technology of the future is now available all over Moldova. The 1Gbps high-speed Internet connection launched recently by our company makes this possible. Today, any Internet user connected to the fiber optic network of Moldtelecom can live the experience of a download speed that is up to ten times higher than now. The communication and information exchange needs of the Internet users will be now fully satisfied,” said Vitalie Iurcu, director general of Moldtelecom.
Starting with this September, all the clients of Moldtelecom can enjoy the possibilities of the new 100G technology and the new promotional offer - 1Gbps Internet subscription for 119 lei a month or a joint Internet and Digital IPTV package with 111 TV channels and 14 HD channels for only 149 lei a month.
Moldtelcom also developed other products, such as the additional services SafeWeb and CloudMt. With SafeWeb, the subscribers can navigate without danger from any device, while the children can be protected online from content that is inappropriate to their age on some websites. The CloudM service allows saving any kind of information (pictures, videos, music, text, etc.), accessing it from any device at any moment and sending it by email or social networking sites.
