Moldtelecom gives presents to Children's Home in Cernoleuca

More than 40 children of the Children's Home in Cernoleuca village of Donduseni district received Christmas gifts from the national communications operator Moldtelecom on December 19. The gifts includes gloves, sports equipment, toys and sweets, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting sources in the company. The presents were handed over by the Moldtelecom director general Vitalie Iurcu, several other employees and a team of actors of children's theater “Guguta”. The actors then performed the play “C-U-C-U-L-E-T-E Chicken”. In the end, the director of the Children's Home Nicolai Popusoi thanked the guests for the presents and joy they brought to the children, adding they expect them to pay new visits to Cernoleuca. The Children's Home in Cernoleuca accommodates orphans of school age and children who remained without parental care. It has been patronized by Moldtelecom from 2001. During 2001- 2009, the company made donations of about 4 million lei to the institution. The money was used to purchase and install an autonomous heating plant, repair the canteen, bedrooms and bathroom, buy school supplies, organize the summer vacation, etc. From 2005 until 2009, the national communications operator allocated about 28.2 million lei in sponsorship for different social projects.
