The Moldavian football team suffered the fifth defeat in the 2020 European Championship preliminaries. The tricolors were defeated 0-4 in Chișinău, by Turkey.
Cenk Tosun scored two goals in the 37th and 79th minutes, while Deniz Turuc and Yusuf Yazici also added their names to the scorers list, by scoring in the 57th and 88th minutes.
"I think we should all be ashamed. We had a lot of unavailable players and we met a strong opponent. However, our performance did not deserve such a result”, Moldavian coach Semion Altman said during a press conference.
Altman used the following players: Koşelev, Graur, Mudrac, Efros, Reabciuk, Cebotaru, Țurcan, Ioniță (Ghecev 81), Suvorov (Rozgoniuc 75), Gînsari (Cemîrtan 68), Sandu.
Moldova's national team will face Andorra's team next, on October 11.
