Moldova’s integration into EU to be discussed in Paris and Brussels

Moldova’s European integration will be discussed at a new round of consultations in Paris and Brussels, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting the mass media and public relations division of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration of Moldova.
The issue will be raised at a meeting of Deputy Foreign Minister Valeriu Ostalep, who is on an official visit to Paris, and Bruno le Maire, the Secretary of State Responsible for European Affairs at the Foreign Ministry of France, on February 18.
According to the press release, the agenda of the meeting includes matters concerning the bilateral Moldovan-French cooperation, the progress made by Moldova on the European integration path and France’s support in this process.
On February 19, Valeriu Ostalep will have a number of meetings with officials of the European Commission in Brussels. They will center on the launch of the dialogue on visa liberalization, the negotiation of a new legal agreement with the EU and the latest developments in Moldova.
“The meetings will constitute an opportunity to discuss Moldova’s priorities in the relations with the European Union this year with European decision makers and to better familiarize with the positions of the officials on the examined issued,” the press release says.
