A number of young people, who are members of the initiative group “Moldova’s Friends” and users of the platform prieteni.md, staged an event within which they shared out coffees to passersby on Stefan cel Mare Blvd in the morning of November 10. They spoke to them about the social problems faced and the measures that can be taken to solve them, IPN reports.
“We meet all those going to work with a cup of coffee to make their day better,” Arteom Gusan, user of the platform prieteni.md, has told IPN.
“We thought to generate positive emotions to the people walking on Stefan cel Mare Blvd early in the morning by offering them a cup coffee and discussing with them the good things we can do this week especially and in general what we can do for things in Moldova to develop and go right,” said the leader of the initiative group “Moldova’s Friends” Alexandru Cauia.
The platform prieteni.md is a social network of volunteers whose users take part in social volunteering activities and receive points for this. The initiative group “Moldova’s Friends” consists of young members and supporters of the Democratic Party.
