Not only the political force that will govern the country, but also Moldova’s fate will be decided at the snap parliamentary elections of July 11, the two leaders of the Electoral Bloc of the Communists and the Socialists (EBCS), Vladimir Voronin and Igor Dodon, stated in a meeting with supporters of the two component parties of the bloc held at the Railway Workers’ Palace in Chisinau, IPN reports.
In a post on Facebook, Igor Dodon said that in the meeting the bloc set the main lines of its activity, namely: fighting of poverty and social protection of the population; ensuring of economic growth; creation of new jobs and supporting of national producers; development of education and health systems, regional infrastructure; strengthening of autonomy of local authorities; promotion of a balanced foreign policy and non-participation in foreign geopolitical games; non-admission of external management of Moldova, and maintaining of the Moldovan statehood, centuries-old traditions, national and Orthodox values.
According to Igor Dodon, the people realize well that hard times came and the independence and sovereignty of the Republic of Moldova are the stake of the upcoming elections.
The agreement on the creation of the Electoral Bloc of the Communists and the Socialists for running in the snap parliamentary elections of July 11 was signed by the PSRM and the PCRM on May 2, 2021.
