The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration of Moldova said they identified a new head office for the Consulate of Moldova in Iasi. Discussions on the issue are now held with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Romania, IPN reports.
The current head office was offered to the Consulate by the Iasi University “Petre Andrei”. Owing to debts accumulated by the university, the building will be put up for sale.
The contract based on which the current head office is leased out to Moldova’s Consulate expires next February.
