The Educational Advising Center has selected the finalists of the Twenty-Third Merit Scholarships competition, as a result of which Moldova’s best 50 undergraduate and master’s students will receive 12,000 lei awards for their achievements.
This edition had 221 student applicants from 18 educational institutions. After evaluating both the applications and written test scores, the jury selected 35 students from the last year of study BA degree (including the penultimate year of integrated study programs) from 9 institutions; and 15 students from the first year of study, MA degree (including the last year of the integrated study programs) from 7 institutions.
The jury was composed of independent experts representing the Ministry of Education, Culture and Research, the academic community and civil society. The complete list of finalists is available on the EAC’s website www.eac.md.
The Merit Scholarships Program is implemented by the EAC with financial support from Moldova Agroindbank and Orange Moldova and under the aegis Moldovan Council of Rectors.
Throughout its twenty three editions, more than 5,700 students participated in the competition and 1,500 were awarded Merit Scholarships.
