The Ambassador of the Republic of Moldova to the EU Daniela Morari presented Moldova’s application to join the European Union to Ambassador Philippe Leglise-Costa, Permanent Representative of France to the EU, IPN reports, with reference to a post placed by Moldova’s Mission to the EU on social media.
Currently, France is holding the Presidency of the Council of the European Union.
President Maia Sandu, Prime Minister Natalia Gavrilița and Parliament Speaker Igor Grosu signed the Republic of Moldova’s application for EU membership in Chisinau in the evening of March 3.
