Moldova’s ambassador to Italy to hold concurrent accreditations

Moldova’s Ambassador to Italy Gheorghe Rusnac is likely to be appointed as the country’s Permanent Representative to the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) and the World Food Program (WFP). After the Government approved the concurrent appointments, Rusnac is to be confirmed to the abovementioned positions by a presidential decree. Gheorghe Rusnac, former rector of the Moldova State University, was appointed by the Government as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Italy on November 14, 2007.
