Moldovans win six medals at European Youth Championships

The Moldovan junior athletes won 6 medal at the European Youth Championships, which ended on Sunday in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Info-Prim Neo reports. Two medals were obtained in freestyle wrestling: Vadim Salcutan won the silver medal in the 42 kg category and Ivan Zamfir took the bronze in the 46 kg category. The best result of the women's team was a bronze medal won by Maria Cantsui, 38 kg category. In the general standings, the Moldovan men's team placed 9th and the women's team 11th. The Greco-Roman wrestling brought three other medals. Dmitri Dobrov (58 kg) and Petru Sevciuc (69 kg) won silver medals and Daniel Cataraga (42 kg) a bronze.
