The citizens of the Republic of Moldova, starting with September 1, will be allowed to enter the Russian Federation if they present a negative PCR COVID-19 test result taken within the previous three calendar days. The test result must be introduced in the application “Traveling without COVID-19”, shows a document signed by the chief state sanitary doctor of the Russian Federation. The given provision also applies to the citizens of Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan, IPN reports.
When on the territory of the Russian Federation, the persons will have to do one more PCR test for COVID-19. Until its results are ready, they should stay in quarantine at the place of stay or at the place of destination.
The persons who got a vaccine against COVID-19 during the past 12 months or who contracted the virus and got cured of COVID-19 during the past six months will not be obliged to take a PCR test after they enter Russia.
The PCR COVID-19 test results, data about the vaccine or about the infection with COVID-19 during the past six months will be mandatorily posted on the Common Governmental Services Portal of the Russian Federation.
