The Moldovans from the diaspora will be able to obtain an electronic signature through the agency of diplomatic missions and consular offices. Services to certify public keys will be provided abroad by the Information Technology and Cybersecurity Service, IPN reports.
In connection with the signing of the agreement that will facilitate the obtaining of the electronic signature for the Moldovan diaspora, director of the Information Technology and Cybersecurity Service Gheorghe Pantaz underlined the importance of simplifying access to electronic public services and overcoming the barriers to the interaction between the citizens and the state. “By modernizing this service, we aim to ensure the comfort of users and to facilitate electronic public services of a high quality remotely/online. The Republic of Moldova aligns itself with the recommendations and standards of the European countries,” said Gheorghe Pantaz.
According to the acting secretary general of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Sergiu Odainic, the digitized service will enable the diaspora in Moldova to easier interact with the state institutions.
