The management of the bazaar from Botosani (Romania) announced the vendors selling food from Moldova they are not allowed any more to sell there, the publication Evenimentul de Botosani writes. Last Saturday I told the vendors of Moldovan food they should not sell their products. I don't want to be fined because those people are stubborn to practice uncivilized commerce,” said Isac Dumitru, the head of the Botosani bazaar. He vows to involve the police to curb the phenomenon. The decision of th bazaar administration angered and scared the vendors. “I put money in this merchandise. It's our source of income, we make our living on and raise our kids. You cannot get rich this way. People buy our products because they are cheaper,” said a vendor selling goods imported from Moldova and Ukraine. The Moldovan merchants reject the idea that their goods would not match sanitation standards.
