Nine Moldovan people were involved in a serious traffic accident on a national road in the Romanian county of Vaslui. A woman, Nina Pohilco, is in a serious condition at the Emergency Hospital in Iasi and could be transported to Bucharest. Another 5 passengers of the minibus, Alexandru Marzencu, Natalia Marzencu, Gheorghe and Vasilisa Turculet and Iurie Cretu, were taken to the Vaslui County Emergency Hospital. Their condition is stable, the head of the Moldovan Foreign Ministry’s press service Valeriu Turea has told Info-Prim Neo. He said that they have only preliminary information for the time being. The Romanian press reported that a 16 year-old teen in a third-degree coma and an unidentified man with leg fractures from the minibus with Moldovan license numbers wee transferred to the Iasi Neurosurgery Hospital. The relatives that want to obtain information about those injured can dial 00 40 23 53 12 121 or 00 40 23 53 12 120 at the Vaslui County Hospital, the Orthopedics and Surgery Sections, and 00 40 21 410 98 27 at the Moldovan Consulate in Romania. The nine Moldovans were traveling in a minibus transporting passengers to Bucharest. The minibus crashed into a car registered in Romania. Two of the passengers of the car died on the spot, while the third passenger was injured. The Romanian press quoted the Vaslui County Police Department as saying that the driver made a U-turn and the car collided head-on with the minibus. The accident happened on the night to March 16 at about 01.00.
