The citizens of the Republic of Moldova will no longer need visas to travel in Qatar. The MPs voted to ratify the Agreement with the Government of Qatar on the abolition of short-stay visas for holders of ordinary passports, IPN reports.
The holders of ordinary passports will be able to enter, transit or stay in Qatar or the Republic of Moldova for a period of at most 90 days over 180 days. The condition is for the goal of the stay to be tourism, transit or business. Those who intend to stay longer need to get a long-stay visa.
So far, the Republic of Moldova and Qatar have signed 13 bilateral agreements. They refer to mutual trips by holders of diplomatic and special passports, reciprocal promotion and protection of investments, cooperation in the economic, commercial and technical sectors, etc.
