As of July 15, the Moldovans will not be allowed to enter Hungary following the new conditions imposed by the Hungarian authorities, IPN reports.
Moldova’s Embassy in Budapest said the new measures classify the states of origin of the citizens into three categories – red, yellow and green – and, as a result, limit the crossing of the border by persons who arrive in these countries. The Republic of Moldova was put on the list of red states for whose citizens entry is banned.
The transit and transportation of freight are an exception from these rules, as are the official trips. Sanitary control can take place in such cases too. As in the previous period, derogation from the self-isolation rules can be obtained from the Hungarian police when special appraisal is necessary. The Hungarian government will review the lists of countries each Wednesday. If need be, their content will be modified.
