The Moldovans are appreciated in the European Union more than they can image. Europe offers Moldova a new chance of success, said the president of the European People’s Party (EPP) Joseph Daul, who is paying a visit to Moldova, IPN reports.
In a news conference held in concert with the leader of the Liberal Democratic Party (PLDM) Vlad Filat, Joseph Daul said that Europe will help Moldova to fully use its potential and talents. The European officials pledge to continue the fight against corruption and the justice sector reform and to contribute to the county’s economic developemtn.
Vlad Filat said the PLDM’s affiliation with the EPP has a considerable influence on Moldova’s European future, while the visit made to Moldova by Joseph Daul before the parliamentary elections is a proof of the support that the most important and largest European political family offers to the country.
“Without the plenary support of our partners, we wouldn’t have succeeded. All those deep transformations initiated five years ago for the country to have a prosperous future in the large European family must be carried on and finished. Today more than ever, we are decided to continue our path to European integration,” stated Vlad Filat.
