Young people from the Republic of Moldova, graduates of higher education institutions, can apply to the German Bundestag’s International Parliamentary Scholarship Program 2025. As part of the program, they will have the opportunity to work in the office of a German MP and will get to know the German parliamentary system, political decision-making processes, as well as gain practical knowledge of parliamentary work, IPN reports.
The German Embassy in Chisinau said that within this interesting program, with a duration of five months, the scholars can also attend lectures at universities in Berlin free of charge.
Those who will apply must be born after March 1, 1995 and have very good knowledge of the German language. The program will last from March 1 to July 31, 2025. Participants will receive a monthly scholarship. Health, accident and civil liability insurance costs will also be covered.
In addition, free accommodation is granted or, if the candidate decides to stay on their own, a monthly contribution will be provided for these expenses. Expenses associated to travel to and from Berlin will be refunded.
