The Moldovan Wine Festival was staged in Romania’s Bucharest on October 12 and 13. The event involved 53 winemakers of the Republic of Moldova, IPN reports, with reference to the Cultural Center of Bucharest.

“Moldova’s wine has turned into a real business card of the Republic of Moldova. Wherever we go in the world, our country is recognized as a producer of exceptional wine, a symbol of the winemaking tradition and the dedicated effort of local producers,” said Minister of Agriculture and Food Industry of Moldova Vladimir Bolea.

The visitors could take part in tasting events guided by experts, gastronomic events, a series of workshops and conferences and an open-air concert featuring such artists as Theo Rose, Satoshi, Nicoleta Nucă, and Damian Drăghici.

The fourth edition of the festival was entitled “Our wine conquers the world” and was organized by the National Office of Vine and Wine of the Republic of Moldova with support from the Ukraine-Moldova American Enterprise Fun, in cooperation with the Bucharest City Hall through the ARCUB – Cultural Center of the municipality of Bucharest.
