A Moldovan national is suspected of being responsible for a chair-reaction traffic accident in Ukraine that involved six cars, claiming three lives and injuring 17 other persons, Info-Prim Neo reports, citing the Russian agency “Novyi Region”. The accident occurred on Tuesday morning in Odessa oblast on the roadway Odessa – Bilhorod-Dnistrovsk. The Moldovan, driving a Volvo-FH 12 semitrailer truck, lost control of the vehicle and struck a BMW-520 and then a Audi-80, which were moving in the same direction. The truck crossed the median line to the opposite side of the road and hit a BMW-740, propelling it into a KAMAZ truck. The semi ended up in a shelterbelt after downing a billboard. Georgeta Moraru, First Secretary of the Moldovan Embassy in Kiev, told Info-Prim Neo that the embassy sent a query to the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry requesting an official confirmation of the involvement of the Moldovan citizen in the traffic accident. Georgeta Moraru doesn't exclude that the man could be prosecuted in Ukraine.
