Moldovan students bring bronze and gold medals from international Olympiads

The Moldovan students won two gold and two bronze medals at two international Olympiads. The first was held in Turkey, while the second in the Netherlands, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting a communiqué from the Ministry of Education.
The eighteen International Environmental Project Olympiad (INEPO-2010) took place in Istanbul between May 19 and 22. It brought together 112 teams from 64 countries. Moldova was represented by four students and two teachers. The Moldovan team won two gold medals. The first medal was obtained by Ana Bacos, a tenth grader of the National Exact Sciences High School, while the second – by Ana Levchenko, an eleventh grader of the same high school.
The International Environment Scientific Project Olympiad was held in Amsterdam during June 3-7. 126 teams from 31 countries took part in it. The bronzes for Moldova were won by the same Ana Bacos and the eleventh grader of the National Exact Sciences High School, Eva Victoria Curca.
