The Moldovan young people who study abroad will be able to purchase health policies for only 25% of its’ price. A bill to this effect was passed by Parliament in the first reading on April 26, IPN reports.

Deputy Minister of Labor, Social Protection and Family Sergiu Sainciuc said the health policy will be valid throughout the year.

The five Liberal lawmakers who support Mihai Ghimpu are absent from the sitting. MP Valeriu Munteanu argued that the sitting is illegal and thus they decided not to come. In this connection, the Communist faction proposed that the salaries of the Liberal MPs should be transferred to the families affected by the Chernobyl catastrophe, the Liberals being this way penalized for the boycott.
