A young woman studying in Romania died Monday at a Galați hospital after a night out at a local club. It has been established that the 20-year-old consumed alcohol in large amounts and another, unidentified substance.
“Papers state acute poisoning with ethanol and an unknown substance. The police are investigating and criminal proceedings for manslaughter have been started. They can be requalified as the investigation goes”, Galați Police spokesperson Gabriela Costin told Mediafax.
The Galați Police wait for the toxicology lab results to come in to find out the nature of the substance that had a role in the woman’s death.
