Moldovan sportspeople get gold, silver and bronze

Two golden medals, three silver ones and two bronze ones have been won by sportspeople from the Moldovan Taekwondo Federation in Ukraine’s open championship, Info-Prim Neo reports. Moldova’s team of juniors and seniors was made up from 12 sportspeople, who competed with 12 Ukrainian teams, 4 Russian teams and a team from Belarus in the championship held in Ivano-Frankivsk on April 5 and 6. According to the Federation president, Sergiu Sloninov, the medals were awarded to Nichita Mihai, Artiom Grisco, Cozmenco Olga, Sergiu Golban, as well as to the senior team who won the silver medal among teams. Adrian Sevciuc and Vasile Taranu got bronze medals. The President of the National Taekwondo Federation says the goal of joining the competition was to test the national team before the European championship for juniors and seniors to be held in Poland from May 15 to 18.
