Moldovan skiers competing in World Champs

Seven Moldovan skiers are taking part in the World Skiing Championships held in the Italian resort of Val di Fiemme. The classical 1.5 km sprint (men) and 1.2 km sprint (women) took place on February 21, Info-Prim Neo reports. Among men, Victor Panzaru ranked 102nd, Sveatoslav Maliutin – 120th, while Liviu Dubalari – 125th out of 129 competitors. Thus, the Moldovans did not compete in the finals. The situation among women was much the same. Alexandra Kamenshchik finished 95th, Doina Kravchenko – 97th, Ana Berghii – 98th, while Dumitrita Ciobanu – 100th. The current World Skiing Championships close on March 3.
