Moldovan police to receive cars from Romanian colleagues

The Ministry of Interiors and Administrative Reform (MIAR) of Romania will donate 30 police cars to Moldova, according to an agreement convened between Romanian Interiors Minister Cristian David and Moldovan Minister of Internal Affairs Gheorghe Papuc. According to MIAR, shortly, the Romanian and Moldovan Police will conclude the necessary legal requirements for the transfer. During the meeting of the two officials which took place on the occasion of the Informal Reunion of the ministers of interior/ security/ public order from the South-East of Europe, held in Bucharest, it was also agreed to create a working group to fight cigarette smuggling in Moldova, the Romanian media reports.
