Moldovan players have crashed out early from the Table Tennis World Championships, taking place in Budapest.
While Andrei Puțuntică scored a victory, Vladislav Ursu, Victor Cîssa, Natalia Brînza and Vlada Caraulinaia were all defeated in the first qualifying round. In men’s doubles, Andrei Puțuntică and Vladislav Ursu were victorious in the first round, but then were defeated by Belgiums Devos and Nuytinck, 9-11, 11-13, 4-11, 7-11.
The Championships have brought together players from 102 countries. The tournament will end on Sunday.
