Moldovan officials offer condolences to Russian people

Moldovan officials gave their condolences to the Russian authorities and people in connection with the plane crash that killed all the 92 persons on broad, IPN reports.

On his Facebook page, President Igor Dodon wrote that the Moldovan people are near the families and relatives of those who died.

Prime Minister Pavel Filip offered his condolences to his Russian counterpart Dmitry Medvedev. “When such tragic events occur, we cannot remain indifferent. In the name of the Government of Moldova, I express sincere condolences and support to the families and relatives of the victims,” says the message.

Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Andrei Galbur addressed a letter of condolence to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia Sergey Lavrov.

A TU-154 military plane heading for Syria from Sochi crashed into the Black Sea shortly after taking off on December 25. There were 92 persons aboard, who included service members, journalists, civic activists and members of the choral ensemble Alexandrov. Nobody survived.
