A Moldovan man condemned to 20 years of jail for committing a number of rapes and grand thefts has been extradited from Holland, on the flight Amsterdam-Frankfurt-Chisinau, Info-Prim Neo has learnt from the Ministry of Domestic Affairs. According to the police, in 1995, the man took a woman in his car in Chisinau. Near the village of Cheltuitor, he menaced her with a gas pistol and deprived her of jewels and other belongings. The total sum of the objects was assessed at 2,700 lei. Later he subjected her to sexual perversions. Later, the suspect committed other felonies. To escape justice, he ran to Holland. Then he was announced as wanted internationally. The Dutch police caught him and extradited him to their Moldovan colleagues. At the same time, an Italian offender was caught in Moldova. The man, wanted internationally, was sentenced to 7 years and 9 months in Italy for illegal migration, abuse of influence, forging documents, wealth extortion and fiscal evasion. He is to be extradited to the Italian police.
