Moldovan MPs participate in PACE session

A delegation of the Parliament of Moldova, headed by vice-speaker Maria Postoico, will participate in the session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe on April 16-19, Info-Prim Neo learned from a press release of the Parliament. The Agenda of the PACE session includes debates regarding human rights and democracy in Europe. The European legislative will hear a report on the commitments of Azerbaijan and their fulfilment, and will also analyse potential strategies to democratise Belarus. PACE might examine the situation in the Middle East and the draft of the European Convention on the protection of children against exploitation and sexual abuse. Also, the European parliamentary delegations will discuss the request of Montenegro to join the Council of Europe. MPs Grigore Petrenco, Dumitru Diacov and Valeriu Cosarciuc will join the delegation.
