The Moldovan lawmakers do not attach great importance to the reaction of the Mayor of Moscow Yury Lujkov, who, in the name of the party “Edinaya Rossia” (“United Russia”), urged the Russian citizens not to buy Moldovan products until the official Chisinau abolish the presidential decree to declare June 28 as the Soviet Occupation Day, Info-Prim Neo reports. Asked by the journalists to comment on the Moscow mayor's appeal, first deputy speaker of Parliament Serafim Urecheanu, who heads the Moldova Noastra Alliance, said Lujkov has the right to opinion as the Moldovan people do. The leader of the Liberal-Democrat parliamentary group Mihai Godea drew a parallel with the reaction of the Russian State Duma that one day earlier issued a declaration, commending the decree signed by Acting President Mihai Ghimpu. “I prefer to look at the reactions that come at governmental level,” he said. Head of Parliament Mihai Ghimpu said these statements are only momentary reactions.
