The Moldovan government officials must announce beforehand if they intend to go to the Transnistrian region for the Easter holidays, as the Transnistrian administration requires, IPN reports.
According to a communiqué from the Reintegration Office, this applies to the country’s administration as well as to managers of government offices and agencies, local public authorities, judges and persons holding responsible posts in the police and the law enforcement bodies.
The Reintegration Office expresses its regret at the given limitations, saying such an approach does not contribute to creating an atmosphere of understanding and confidence between the two banks of the Nistru.
