“Moldovan language” excluded from EU vocabulary

EU Commissioner for Multilingualism Leonard Orban told Mediafax news agency on Friday that the site of the European Commission has updated the references to the Moldovan language. The European commissioner specified that a series of technical measures have been employed so as to remedy this situation, adding that a monitoring procedure will be soon put in place in order to avoid such situations in the future. Orban called on his colleagues to avoid using the sequence of words “Moldovan language” in the agreements between the European Union and the Republic of Moldova.
