Moldovan, Georgian veteran footballers engage in friendly match

The teams of Moldovan and Georgian veteran football players engaged in a friendly match on Wednesday to mark the 100th anniversary of the Moldovan Football and the 20th anniversary of the Moldovan Football Federation, Info-Prim Neo reports. The game, which ended in a 4-4 draw, gathered about 1,000 spectators. Radu Rebeja, Vladimir Gospershi and Gheorghe Hareas scored for Moldova; Ketsbaia, L. Nodia, Koridze and Knizanishvili scored for Georgia. A festivity was held on Tuesday evening in Chisinau, bringing together veteran footballers, club owners, coaches, politicians and various figures representing the European football, including UEFA Presidnet Michel Platini, UEFA deputy general secretary Theodore Theodoridis, Romanian Football Federation President Mircea Sandu, etc. The celebrations will culminate on Wednesday evening with the friendly between Moldova and Georgia.
