Specialists of the “Codru” Bomb Squad will train counterparts from the Ukrainian Armed Forces to identify and neutralize explosives within a training session at the Explosive Ordinance Disposal Center of Excellence of the National Army, IPN reports.
According to the Ministry of Defense, the course is organized in the context of the humanitarian assistance offered to Ukrainian specialists for these to acquire the skills needed to free lots from explosives following Russia’s war against Ukraine.
The training is also aimed at preventing cases of injury or death among the population of Ukraine as a result of the blowing up of devices that remain in the ground.
The training course will last for four weeks and will consist of theoretical and practical lessons.
