Moldovan diplomats learn how to attract FDI

A training course on the role of the diplomatic service in attracting foreign direct investment into Moldova has started in Chisinau. According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, the course is destined to Moldovan officials, employees of the diplomatic mission and consulates of Moldova, persons in charge of economic and trade issues. For two days, the participants will discuss with international experts, as well as with the representatives of the main foreign investors in Moldova. This event is the result of the direct cooperation between MFAEI and TACIS project “MEPO/MIDA Assistance”. At the end of the instruction programme, on July 26, the diplomats in charge of economic and trade issues will come together at MFAEI to examine different aspects of attracting FDI into the country and promoting exports of Moldovan products.
