Moldovan delegation taking part in “Europe’s New South” Summit

A delegation from Moldova, headed by Premier Vasile Tarlev, will participate in the “Europe’s New South” Summit taking place in Dubrovnik, Croatia, on July 6-7. The forum will be focused on up-to-date issues of the Southern-Eastern Europe and is aimed at identifying the best ways for achieving the goals of the Southern-Eastern European countries to join the European community, for strengthening peace and stability, as part of the cooperation interests in the region. Top leaders of the European Union, U.S. and NATO, MPs, as well as representatives of international bodies, scientists, analysts and journalists from Europe and Northern America, will participate in the international reunion in Dubrovnik. Vasile Tarlev will deliver a speech on the reunion’s rostrum on the regional cooperation as regards the security and stability in Southern-Eastern Europe. A bilateral meeting between the Moldovan Premier and Daniel Fried, the U.S. Assistant Secretary of State, and other officials, is scheduled on the summit agenda.
