Moldovan delegation at PACE spring session

A delegation of the Moldovan Parliament is taking part in the spring session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) that taking place in Strasbourg during April 26-29, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting a communique from the legislative body. The delegation consists of MPs Ana Gutu, Valeriu Ghiletski and Stella Jantuan. During the session, the president of the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe Micheline Calmy-Rey will render a traditional report. The agenda includes giving of speeches by the President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovich and Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, discussion of such issues as the impact of the world economic crisis, the commemoration of the victims of the Holdomor in the former USSR, fulfillment of the commitments to the CE by Montenegro, and presentation of a report on the post-monitoring dialogue with Bulgaria. In the meeting of the PACE Monitoring Committee, the rapporteurs for Moldova will present the results of their visit to Chisinau during April 5-7, 2010.
