A meeting of the Moldovan-Czech intergovernmental commission for economic and industrial cooperation is set to take place on February 1-4, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy Valeriu Lazar said, quoted by Info-Prim Neo. According to Valeriu Lazar, it is two years since the last meeting of the commission that was held in Prague. The Czech party repeatedly requested calling the next meeting, but it was not possible owing to the successive election campaigns in Moldova. The minister also said that this commission is an important instrument for developing the Moldovan-Czech commercial and economic relations. The Moldova authorities hope to export wine products to the Czech Republic. The Moldovan producers staged presentations on the national wines in Prague. Besides dealing with economic and commercial problems, the commission will stimulate cooperation in the context of Moldova's European integration efforts, Valeriu Lazar said. The Czech representatives will be able to visit the exhibition ”Made in Moldova” that will be staged at Moldexpo next week.
