The citizens of Moldova can take part in a contest to be admitted to higher military education institutions in the U.S. in 2017: the West Point Military Academy and the Air Force Academy. Applications can be submitted to the Human Resources Management Division of the Ministry of Defense of Moldova by November 4, 2016, IPN reports.
In a press release, the Ministry of Defense says the admission contest is open to women and men aged between 17 and 23, not yet reached on July 1, 2017, lyceum, college or university graduates. Knowledge of English is mandatory.
To be admitted, the candidates will have to take the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL), the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) or the American College Test (ACT). The candidates will also take the physical fitness test that will be staged by the Ministry of Defense in concert with the U.S. Embassy in Chisinau.
The studies at the higher military education institutions in the U.S. will last for four years, while tuition is fully covered by the U.S. Government.
