Moldovan-Belgian Chamber of Trade stats work

The Moldovan-Belgian Chamber of Trade began work in Chisinau on March 9. Prime Minister Vlad Filat welcomed the initiative to create such an organization and the close Moldovan-Belgian cooperation relations. Related statements were made in a meeting of the Premier and former Minister of State of Belgium Willy Claes, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to a communiqué from the Government, the interlocutors underlined that the Moldovan-Belgian relations have constantly developed. The Premier said that on March 11 it will be 20 years of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Moldova and Belgium. A number of activities will be carried out in Chisinau on this occasion. Vlad Filat thanked the Belgian authorities for the support provided in the process of reforming the country and in the European integration process. For his part, Willy Claes stated that Belgium will raise the volume of investments made in Moldova, saying the imports of Moldovan goods should be also increased. He stressed that the Moldovan wines are of a high quality and deserve to be known by the European consumers.
