Moldovan athletes to compete in javelin throw and canoe sprint at Olympics

Athlete Andrian Mardare on Tuesday will compete in javelin throw at the Olympic Games in Paris. The competition starts at 11:20 a.m., IPN reports.

Andrian Mardare contends in group B, alongside 15 other athletes.

This is his second participation in the Olympic Games, the first being in Tokyo. Then Andrian Mardare achieved the result of 83.30 meters and ranked seventh.

Also today, Daniela Cociu and Maria Olărașu will compete in 500 m canoe sprint. The Cociu-Olărașu duo’s performance can be watched starting at 12 noon.
